Local Vets Care for Homeless Dogs
DR. GERALD HOFFMAN gets kisses from POOCH dog JASPER.

SEVERAL EXCELLENT local veterinarians and animal clinics nearby care deeply about the health
and welfare of homeless dogs.
DR. JONATHAN BETTS,
Woodburn Veterinary Clinic, has helped POOCH from the program’s beginning in 1993.
His clinic continues to provide no-cost vaccinations. Dr. Betts often visits to talk with the youths about veterinary
medicine and proper dental care for the dogs.
DR. GERALD HOFFMAN and Lake Grove Veterinary
Clinic give discounts on spaying, neutering
and vaccinations.
DR. PATRICK PARADIS,
Woodburn Veterinary Hospital, is a POOCH
board member and gives discounts for his veterinary services.
Parkway Veterinary Clinic makes an annual donation to Project POOCH.
DR. SCOTT LOZIER and the staff of Northwest Veterinary Specialists have offered
reduced rates for the on-going care of the POOCH dog
Rufus and other special needs animals.
DR. SAL JEPSON meets with the youths and has developed a Self-Guided Computer Study
Modules to train them on canine healthcare topics.
