Kennel Repairs
THE WORK has begun on the repairs to the original kennel built by the MacLaren building
trades class in 1995.
The POOCH youths are removing the fencing material that was used for the kennel enclosures and replacing it
with solid panels to provide additional protection and warmth for the dogs.
Besides improving the dogs’ living
conditions, repairing the kennel gives the youths an opportunity to practice building skills. Project POOCH is
grateful to the JUAN YOUNG TRUST and the KAREN M. SCHROTH
FOUNDATION for funding this project.
