SAM is neutered, chipped, and vaccinated. He is a beautiful dog full of energy and vitality.
He needs to have lots of activity and room to run, but he also needs human companionship and friendship
and would not be happy as a “backyard dog.” He will be at his best in a home where there are
no cats, and he can be the only dog.

MIKEY has a very lovable personality, and has already earned his AKC Canine Good Citizen
Certificate. He likes people, other dogs, and and would do best in a home where someone
can spend lots of time with him each day. Mikey is still young and has a lot of energy.
He needs to be with someone who will give him lots of one-on-one interaction and
daily exercise. Mikey is neutered, vaccinated, and has a microchip.

COPPER
Male, Hound Mix

COPPER is shy at first but warms up to people quickly.
He's a great dog - affectionate, energetic, playful and eager to learn.
Copper has mixed feelings about other dogs, so he MUST be
introduced to any other dogs in the house before he is adopted.
He might even do best as a one and only dog. Because he is large and young and excitable,
he would do best in a home with older kids. Copper isn't a dog that
enjoys lying around. He needs someone to take him for
long walks and play with him every day.

KEIRA is little bashful around new people but she warms up as she gains confidence.
She has been spayed and has all her shots and a micro-chip. Plus, she's house trained, and working with
her handler daily to learn basic obedience. Keira is a high energy, playful dog, and needs a home that will
provide her with lots of exercise.

Her handler says she is eager to please and has
a great attitude. This is one old dog that is very motivated to learn new things.
Sassy II has been spayed, and has all of her shots plus a micro-chip. Now she just needs
somebody to give her the love and attention she really deserves.

Female, Belgian Shepherd Sheepdog Mix

GABBY II lived most of her five years in a very small shelter where the roof leaked and
there were few visitors. The shelter staff wanted to improve Gabby's chances for adoption, and asked
Project POOCH to find her a good home. She has been spayed, micro-chipped, and has all her shots.
Gabby is a wonderful dog ---- smart and eager to please and to make new friends. She
loves playing with other dogs and working with her handler.
She is a quick learner and her handler predicts she will be a fast agility dog.
Gabby is always on her best behavior --- except with cats. She is chaser and shouldn't go to live
in a home with cats.

REX is a sweet boy who adores affection, and loves everyone.
He also loves to play with people and other dogs. He has been
neutered and micro-chipped, and has had all his vaccinations.
Rex is easy to train because he is very food motivated.

Woody has a great temperament, and is smart and happy to learn. He craves affection and works hard to earn his trainer's approval.

BOBBY has recently retired from a career as a racer in Florida. (He's doing it backwards; most
retirees retire FROM Oregon TO Florida instead of the other way around.) Bobby has a beautiful brindle coat and a
sweet disposition. He is neutered, micro-chipped, up-to-date on vaccines, and tested negative for parasites. Greyhounds
have an average life span of 12 to 14 years, so Bobby can look forward to many golden years in his adoptive retirement
home.

LUCY, like most labs, is very friendly and loves to be with people. She also loves balls and will be happiest with
somebody who will play ball with her. Lucy has been spayed and micro-chipped, and is up to date on her vaccinations. She will do best
in a situation where there are no cats to chase, and where she can be the only dog.

ZOEY is very food motivated and will overeat if she is allowed to. She also needs daily exercise to stay trim and physically fit.
But it's not hard to keep her active, since she is very energetic and loves to retrieve balls. Lucy is good with cats (she'd rather chase
her ball), other dogs, and children. She has all her shots and a micro-chip, and has been spayed.

CHANCE is a smart dog and graduated at the top of his
Canine Good Citizens class . His trainer thinks he would make a good service dog.
Chance loves people and other dogs, and is calm around children - but he can't be trusted around cats or chickens or other birds.
He is young and full of energy, and needs a home where he can have plenty of exercise with long walks daily and will be able to spend
quality time developing a strong relationship with his adopters. He has been
neutered, micro-chipped, and vaccinated.
