POOCH 2019 Calendar Contest Part 10: Howl-o-ween Canine!

Project POOCH Calendar contest for October 2019: Howl-o-ween Canine

All donations will be used to help care for our shelter dogs and support the youth who prepare them for adoption. The proceeds will help pay for spay/neuter, healthy food, vaccinations, new toys, blankets, and rain gear (for both the pups and youth).

  1. Entrance fee for the photo contest is $5
  2. Individuals may enter 1 photo in the contest
  3. ANYONE can vote as many times as they like: $5 = 5 votes
  4. All entries and votes are due by October 31, 2019 at 8:00 PM PST (Note earlier time!)


The top winner will have their picture featured in Project POOCH's 2020 calendar as the main picture for the month in which they won. 2nd and 3rd place will also get a shout out and smaller picture featured in the calendar.

Join Willamette Week Give!Guide nonprofits as they battle to be crowned the Best Pong Player in Portland! Timber Joey will be there! Bring your staff, volunteers and/or everyone else who will root for your team or will support your nonprofit with a donation. After the tournament, the table will be open for anyone to play by simply making a donation to ANY WWGG nonprofit!

November 17: Tea & Yoga

De-stress before the holidays!

Come enjoy a relaxing Sunday afternoon with Project POOCH at the Lakewood Center for the Arts. Certified Yoga instructor Roxanne Thomas will be teaching a one -hour yoga class, followed by a 30 minute social time during which Starbucks will be serving us tea.You'll also have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets and take home an amazing raffle basket donated by our friends at Starbucks.

Each of our guests will receive a complimentary "KeepCup" to take home. KeepCups are "the world's first barista standard reusable cup. Lightweight, durable and fit for purpose for coffee(or tea!) on the go."

All of our amazing gifts, prizes, and classes were donated by friends of Project POOCH, so your entire registration fee and any purchases raffle tickets go directly to supporting shelter dogs and youth in corrections.
