Hi, I’m KIMCHI!

Cookie Crisp is an outgoing, smart, adventurous girl. From a favorite at the county shelter, to a youth favorite here at POOCH, Cookie has admirers everywhere! We really can’t fathom any reason she wouldn’t be perfect for you.

Cookie has yet to find someone who isn’t her new best friend. She is a social, gregarious dog that would love to meet your neighbors, extended family, and the baristas at your favorite coffee shop. She has enjoyed working with everyone at POOCH, youth and staff alike.

While she had started working on her leash skills at the county shelter, our youth stepped up to the task of helping Cookie be the best she could be. They were excited to work with a dog who is so food motivated! She is game to work on anything you would like to try, she is eager to please and happy to make you happy. In our training center she has even worked on the dog walk and a-frame, showing the youth how to overcome your nerves.

During playgroups Cookie is just as social with other dogs as she is with people. She is learning to understand dog social cues and play styles and adjusting her goofy self to help them play better with her. She’s so eager to be everyone’s friend.
